Some of the runners from the SILON team transformed into snowmen for the Dobroběh pro Rolničku race
Our thanks to all the competing runners and walkers from SILON, who took part in the competition in support of Dobroběh Diakonie Rolnička (a charity race for the Rolnička service) in Soběslav in lovely weather on Saturday 21 September. One of our classic running teams won 3rd place. The Army race raised it attractiveness to an even higher level. Climbing over obstacles, crawling through mud and eating mealworms had become something of a routine that all the competitors trained for. But diving into foam a few metres in front of the finish line required a lot of determination. Our great thanks to all the “snowmen” from the ARMY team, all the runners and walkers, for taking part! SILON heaped 10,600 crowns into the Rolnička cash box in the form of starting fees this year. WE’LL GO FOR IT AGAIN next time.
